The Mayflower Compact

This is the very first document, the Mayflower Compact, that was signed and witnessed in the United States. If anyone tries to tell you this is NOT a Christian nation, just them this.
"In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord, King James, by the Grace of God, of England, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, e&. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid; And by Virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the General good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience. In Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Cape Cod the eleventh of November, in the Reign of our Sovereign Lord, King James of England, France and Ireland, the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth. Anno Domini, 1620."
Yes, this is a Christian nation. Thank God! He has mercy, therefore there are no mercy killings. He is loving, therefore we have second chances. I love America!

This is a nation founded on Christian principles. Wish the ACLU would get with the program instead of challenging us with the superfluous law suites. They have just filed a law suite against the federal government regarding the San Diego Mt Soledad Cross (on behalf of a Jewish Veterans Organization). They lost the chance to sue the City of San Diego when President Bush signed the bill transferring Mt Soledad to the Federal Government.

Now ACLU is mounting a campaign against the Feds to remove the cross.

"The controversy over the Mount Soledad cross continues to grow Friday, with the American Civil Liberties Union now suing the federal government over some newly signed legislation."

You can find information as it becomes available at KFMB Channel 8, San Diego.

Isn't that nothing? You do know their roots, yes? They are the American COMMUNIST LEGAL Union. That should say it all...

How do you like the site? Should I leave it alone, or should I fix her up? hehehe.

I am moderating comments because I do not have the time to catch all the nasty comments ie. sexual in nature. I won't put up with that. If you want to get in touch with me, e-mail me or come over to Rosemary's Thoughts. Thank you.
