The ACLU has attacked Mt. Soledad memorial in San Diego since the the very beginning of Bush the Elder's Administration because it includes a cross. This is just one of countless examples of the ACLU’s seek and destroy mission to eliminate all religious symbols from public grounds.

vs. America

76% of San Diegans voted to save the Mt. Soledad National War Memorial from the ACLU’s attack on behalf of a single atheist. That atheist, Jim McElroy was quoted as saying following the vote: “It still doesn't mean a damn thing," he said, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. “Voters should have never voted on it. It's a waste of taxpayers' money.”
___________________________________________________

The reaction from ACLU-types will predictably be something like: “What is right and Constitutional is not always popular.” Easy answer: What the ACLU does is invent rights and distort the Constitution, which is why the ACLU is so UNpopular. The ACLU has used dubious interpretations of law NEVER imagined by our Founders with compliance from radical judges to push an agenda abhorrent to most Americans and indeed to the intent of the Constitution. Look no further than the ACLU's pro bono defense of a website that advocates pedophilia and instructs its visitors in how to rape children and evade prosecution. So...the ACLU considers encouraging instruction on how to commit and get away with child rape a First Amendment right...does anyone believe that the Founders would agree? Therefore, can't we conclude that if the ACLU is so wrong on this, that it may be wrong on many other things? Judge the evidence for yourself.

“American Hiroshima”

Last week, this column commended President George W. Bush for calling our jihadist foes as he sees them: Islamic fascists. We then asked, "Will the real Islam please stand up?" Once again, it has.

On Tuesday, 29-year-old Omeed Aziz Popal, recently returned to the U.S. from Afghanistan, went on a rampage in his SUV in a heavily Jewish area of San Francisco, killing one man and sending 14 other victims to the hospital, seven in critical condition. According to one eyewitness, “The SUV struck two people in front of the Jewish Community Center... on California Street, a few blocks from where the rampage ended. Blood covered the sidewalk in front of the center’s gift store entrance.”

Last month in Seattle, you may recall, Naveed Afzal Haq shot six Jews, killing one, at a Jewish Federation office.

On 3 March, at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, a 22-year-old Iranian, Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, went on a killing spree in his SUV to “punish the government of the United States” and “avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world.” When making his initial statement in court, Taheri-azar expressed gratitude “for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah.”

Now, contrary to what the apologists on the cut-and-run Left would have us believe, the common thread in these three murderous onslaughts is not Jews, it’s not SUVs, and it’s not the difficulties of Muslims coping with life in America. The common thread is Islamic fascism, an ideology that is dead set on our destruction.
The common thread in these three murderous onslaughts is not Jews, it’s not SUVs, and it’s not the difficulties of Muslims coping with life in America.
One of the foremost of these Islamic fascists, Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad, recently claimed that the Holocaust was a hoax dreamed up by the Allies and their Zionist cohorts. In addition, he blames the state of Israel for all that’s wrong in the Arab world: “The peoples of the Middle East have also borne the brunt of the Holocaust. By raising the necessity of settling the survivors of the Holocaust in the land of Palestine, they have created a permanent threat in the Middle East in order to rob the people of the region of the opportunities to achieve progress... The collective conscience of the world is indignant over the daily atrocities by the Zionist occupiers, destruction of homes and farms, killing of children, assassinations and bombardments.”

Thus, as far as the Islamists are concerned, Zionists and the West are in the same boat. “God willing, with the force of God behind it,” Ahmadi-Nejad has said, “we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism.”

Now, as Thursday’s United Nations-imposed deadline for Iran to halt its nuclear fuel production has come and gone, the rogue state remains defiant. “[The West] should know the Iranian nation will not yield to pressure and not accept any violation of its rights,” said Ahmadi-Nejad. “Arrogant powers are against Iran’s peaceful nuclear progress.”

Anticipating Iran’s response, the Bush administration has come out swinging and—we are pleased to say—building on the President’s Islamic fascist theme.

Speaking at the annual convention of the American Legion, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld recounted the history of World War II and the Cold War, warning against those who counsel appeasement and retreat today: “I recount that history because, once again, we face similar challenges in efforts to confront the rising threat of a new type of fascism, but some seem not to have learned history’s lessons,” the Secretary said. Indeed, just as Adolf Hitler would not be appeased as he pressed his grand plan for war, so also today’s fascists will find only encouragement in the West’s accommodations.

“With the growing lethality and the increasing availability of weapons,” Rumsfeld went on to ask, “can we truly afford to believe that somehow, some way, vicious extremists can be appeased?”
On the 67th anniversary of Nazi Germany’s invasion of Poland, we cannot again be lulled into the false comfort of complacency and appeasement against a new fascist foe.
In a policy address of his own at Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base this week, Vice President Dick Cheney voiced the same theme. “This is not an enemy that can be ignored, or negotiated with, or appeased,” he said, “and every retreat by civilized nations is an invitation to further violence against us. Men who despise freedom will attack freedom in any part of the world, and so responsible nations have a duty to stay on the offensive, together, to remove this threat.” Today, as the world marks the 67th anniversary of Nazi Germany’s invasion of Poland, we cannot again be lulled into the false comfort of complacency and appeasement against a new fascist foe.

What, specifically, is the threat posed by these Islamic fascists? Is the threat limited to the occasional believer mowing down a few American Jews with an SUV?

Of course not. Nor is the threat limited to the sort of mass murder we witnessed five years ago this month in New York, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania.

Rather, as this column has stated time and again, the real threat posed by Islamic fascism comes in the form of a nuclear device in the hands of a terrorist surrogate. In the present case, the Cold War’s deterrent doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) does not apply. A nuclear strike against the United States won’t come in the form of a missile launch from silos on the other side of the world, or a submarine lurking off our shores. Rather, as a recent RAND study speculates, a nuclear terrorist attack against the U.S. will come from a cargo container aboard a freighter arrived in a U.S. port, or, alternately, transported across the porous southern border with the same mechanisms used to smuggle tens of thousands of illegal aliens every year.

Hamid Mir, the famed Pakistani journalist who obtained the only post-9/11 interviews with Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, believes a nuclear attack against the United States is on the horizon, to be coordinated by the cleric-fascist state of Iran and its terrorist surrogate, al-Qa’ida. “Al-Qa’ida and Iran have a long, secret relationship,” Mir says, and they’ve named their plans for a nuclear attack on the U.S.—using nuclear devices that Mir believes they already possess—“American Hiroshima.”

The association between Iran and al-Qa’ida, Mir says, dates to June 1996, when bin Laden joined other jihadist leaders in Tehran to discuss their goals. Others in attendance included Muhammad Ali Ahmad of al-Qa’ida, Imad al-Alami and Mustafa al-Liddawi of Hamas, Ahmad Jibril of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Egyptian Islamic Jihad’s Ahmad Salah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Ramadan Shallah, Hizballah’s Imad Mugniyah and Abdallah Ocalan of the Kurdish People Party. The meeting, says Mir, produced the “Committee of Three,” consisting of bin Laden, Salah and Mugniyah, who would be responsible for the “coordination, planning and execution of attacks” on the U.S. and Israel. Shortly thereafter, on 23 August 1996, bin Laden issued his fatwa, “Declaration of War on Americans Occupying the Country of the Two Holy Places.”

In one interview with Mir, bin Laden boasts, “It is not difficult [to obtain tactical nuclear devices], not if you have contacts in Russia with other militant groups. They are available for $10 million and $20 million.” At the time, bin Laden claimed already to be in possession of such devices, and Mir believes that they may already be forward-deployed within the United States. While this information is, of course, not confirmable, and may be no more than enemy misinformation, it is plausible.

For these reasons—the nature of our enemy’s threat and his determination to see our destruction—the only applicable defense is the doctrine of pre-emption. Thursday, the same day Iran rejected the deadline for ending its enrichment of uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported finding traces of highly enriched uranium at an Iranian nuclear plant. Uranium of this variety is used only for the production of nuclear weapons. Our only strategic option and our best hope of averting a nuclear attack, though it’s certainly no guarantee, is pre-emptive warfare against our enemies. As the five-year anniversary of 9/11 approaches, let us be mindful of Islamic fascism’s deadly determination. Let us match it with a deadly determination of our own.

Quote of the week

“Unless we in the West adapt more quickly than do canny Islamic terrorists in this constantly evolving war, cease our internecine fighting and stop forgetting what we’ve learned about our enemies—there will be disasters to come far worse than Sept. 11.” —Victor Davis Hanson

NG Attacked at home; Time to Stand and be Counted

Those of us with a brain between our ears have had to listen the garbage spewn across our TV's (for those who still them on) as if these were 'peace' protests. They are not. I, for one, refuse to allow this charade to continue.

Over at Little Green Footballs, I found this article: National Guardsman Brutally Attacked. I beg you to read it. Then I dare you to show your true colors. Are you a patriot or a communist-fascist-sympothizer? How will we know?

Write to the SeattleInsider at:
    KIRO/SeattleInsider.com
    2807 Third Avenue
    Seattle, WA 98121
    Phone: (206) 728-7777
These are the brave souls that reported this story. Show them your support, and ask if there is any new information. Then, go around in your town and find another person who gets as angry as I am at this happening (and it is not reported except for the local area).

This must not be allowed to stand. We must fight back with PRO-VICTORY protests. I do not care that you have a job. Those people are dead because they had a job on September 11, 2001, or have you forgotton?

Update: Many people people are becoming aware of this situation, and they do not like this any more than I do. Have you heard anything in the news? Have you read it the papers? No? I am not surprised. However, if it were the other way around? The moonbats would be demanding justice. Let us show them exactly what justice is when you perpetrate this heinous act of hatred against your own country, your own brother. And you are peace-loving? HA!

Check out Dagney's Rant and Froggy over at Blackfive. Also, feel free to go through my Milblogs on my sidebar. I am quite sure they have written about this as well.

Please be patient with JB's site. He's been having some difficulty with his server, but he will be up and posting as soon as possible. If he starts posting somewhere else, I will let you know. If you find him before that, please let me know.

Harvard's 'Stuck on' September 10, 2001

Does anyome remember a Taliban student who shamed the halls of Harvard? Well, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Harvard has chosen Sept. 10 (an appropriate date) to cater to Iran's ex-president, Mohammad Khatami. They will 'wine and dine' at an event known as, "Ethics of Tolerance in the Age of Violence."

I don't know about you, but I am tired of our tax dollars paying for every dictator, tyrant, rapists, murderer, child molester, etc, who wants to come here. THIS IS NOT CAMP. This is my home, and I should have a say as to whom enters.

We are already overwhelmed with illegal aliens, fatherless children (no comparison), and all this time we are at war. Or are we? They are. That is one thing of which I am positively certain. I wonder when we will be? Wasn't September 11, 2001 enough to open everyone's eyes?

World proclaims Hizbollah victor, Lebanon does not

I was going to start this column with an apology, because I have refused to read anti-semitic material. I receive the The Daily Star on a daily basis, but I have been deleting it. Then I retrieved the last one sent, and here are some of the headlines:
Syrian ports gain from Lebanon blockade
US claims 'great progress' in Iraq as violence kills 14 The terrorists blow people up, we get blamed?
Aoun says Hizbullah should try to 'reassure' rest of country Isn't he supposed to disarm Hizbullah?
Wake up, America! Israel is no friend of yours They never attacked us on purpose or murdered any of our servicemen that were there to protect and help you.
Be grateful that exasperation has not stifled moderates It is not what you think.
That is just an example from yesterday, Aug. 25, 2006 (their time). All the while, they are marching in the shoes of our western media. They may not like this, but they have been westernized!

I have read this wonderful article in the Opinion Journal online. Now I am pretty much confused. Are the reporters still being threatened? Is the IRGI (Islamic Republic Guard of Iran) still there? Do we need to confront this group? (I say, "Yes." We should have done so 3 years ago, but that's a different issue.)

Mr. Amir Taheri has written this article today. He sites many people of fine distinction. Michel Aoun (a maverick Christian leader and tactical ally of Hezbollah, has called for the Shiite militia to disband), Walid Abi-Mershed (a leading Lebanese columnist), Sayyed Ali al-Amin (the grand old man of Lebanese Shiism, has broken years of silence to criticize Hezbollah for provoking the war, and called for its disarmament), Mona Fayed (a prominent Shiite academic in Beirut) and many more.

Here is what he concludes:
Hezbollah's position is no more secure in the broader Arab world, where it is seen as an Iranian tool rather than as the vanguard of a new Nahdha (Awakening), as the Western media claim. To be sure, it is still powerful because it has guns, money and support from Iran, Syria and Hate America International Inc. But the list of prominent Arab writers, both Shiite and Sunni, who have exposed Hezbollah for what it is--a Khomeinist Trojan horse--would be too long for a single article. They are beginning to lift the veil and reveal what really happened in Lebanon.

Having lost more than 500 of its fighters, and with almost all of its medium-range missiles destroyed, Hezbollah may find it hard to sustain its claim of victory. "Hezbollah won the propaganda war because many in the West wanted it to win as a means of settling score with the United States," says Egyptian columnist Ali al-Ibrahim. "But the Arabs have become wise enough to know TV victory from real victory."
I do believe there is a movement in Beruit that will be unstopable, just as the March 14 Cedar Revolution. It is up to the people of Lebanon to demand justice from their government. A state within a state which does not abide by any of the same rules as the Superior State is unjust. As we know, that tension, that struggle, cannot stand. One state will survive, but only one.

A Real Hero You Should Know and Help

Allow me to begin with the acknowledgement that I am biased toward children. I love them. Now that this is out in the open, I would like to share with you a story that is still in everyone's prayers who knows of this.

SPC Selena Lassien spent her time in OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) from October 2004 to September 2005. If you thought that was hectic, you haven't heard anything yet.

When Selena returned home to Vinton, La, on September 24, 2005, she found herself being chased out of her home by Hurricane Rita. For her 26 years of life, the worst was yet to come.

After this, her family and she were settled in many different places, with Selena moving from one Fort to the next. Until one day, her boyfriend Darrell and she settled in at Lake Charles. After they had settled in, they received the news. Selena was pregnant.

It just so happened that she flew to her cousins high school graduation party in Jamaica Plain, Mass. in June 2006. Two hours before she was ready to fly home, she noticed there was something wrong with her pregnancy. She called her doctor back home, he told her to relax and fly home, but Selena knew better. (Not too hard, if you ask me, to second guess a doctor!)

It was a good thing, too. She went to the hospital emergency room. Being six months pregnant, she was already dialating. They admitted her that day. "After another four weeks in a special bed at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, tiny Kameryn Bias was born. She was soon transferred to Children’s Hospital, where surgeons dealt with the intricate complexities of this fragile but determined life." She weighed no more than 1.5 pounds.

As of today, she weighs in at 2 pounds. At this very moment, Kameryn is having another surgery. I have just learned this from Patty Patton-Bader, President and Founder of Soldiers' Angles. Soldiers' Angles will be accepting donations into their general fund for 48 hours, starting last night, to help Selena find an apartment near the hospital.

She is far away from home, and she really needs our help. She helped us by going to war on our behalf, this is a very simple way for us to show our gratitude.

You may also find some information at Blackfive's website. Also, Pundit Review held a three hour vigil of sorts on their radio program last night for Selena.

Please, no matter if you only have $10, it all counts. Do not be embarrassed. Think about it this way. How would you feel after going to war, living through a hurrican, and then your child is born premature and needed surgery on her heart and intenstines? Would you like to be near your daughter? Would you do whatever it took to do so? Well, we're just trying to make it a little easier on her. After all, doesn't she have enough on her mind?

Please use the paypal, or write to:

    San Antonio, TX 78248
You may also call SA at (615) 676-0239.
Thank you so much for all that you do. That includes the Veterans who have also stepped up to the plate. Unfortunately, they can only offer housing which is very far away from the hospital. I love you guys, but come on. I wouldn't even leave the hospital, let alone go far away!

Please remember to pray for Darrell, Selena and Kameryn. Thank you.

Nancy Pelosi, Is This The Face They Want

Nancy Pelosi is the House Minority Leader and if the Democrats win back the House this November she is certain to become the Speaker of the House. Is this the person that the Democrats have put out as the face of their party and is this the person America wants in the lead? In a recent interview Pelosi gives some interesting insight into the obstructionist ways of the Democratic party, and obstruction largely orchestrated by Pelosi.

Pelosi has demanded that the Democrats toe the line she has drawn and she holds grudges against those who do not do her bidding. She remarked, "Anybody who's ever dealt with me knows not to mess with me." I don't know how she could be such an imposing figure but evidently there are few Democrats willing to get out of her kool-aid line. For a long time now she has told her party to oppose everything that George Bush does and that they had a better plan yet when asked when that plan would be made public her answer was, "Never. Is never good enough for you?"

She took a strong stand against Social Security reform and if you read the article she gives the impression that she knows SS is in trouble but intimates that if the Democrats tell the seniors there is no problem and that the government's measly retirement plan is better, they will win the battle against reform and deal Bush a blow. Why should Pelosi worry? She is rich and will never have to worry about deciding between food and medication. Her desire to deal Bush defeat has overridden the reason she was sent to Congress and that is to represent the people.

This is a telling article and demonstrates how far the left will go to defeat Bush and the Republicans. They are manipulating events, like the William Jefferson corruption, to make the public believe that corruption is a Republican only problem. They are ignoring the trouble we face with Social Security and placing the financial solvency of that program at risk to advance a political agenda, and they are constantly portraying the war on terror in Iraq as "Bush's War." You read that correctly, the Democratic platform appears to be to distance themselves from a war they voted to undertake. In the local political ads I have heard here in Maryland every Democrat calls the war "Bush's War."

The article goes on to discuss that Pelosi sticks to the agreed upon talking points in order to keep hammering away at the opposition. This is part of politics but people need to ask themselves if the message is not true or is based upon deception, what exactly does that say about the party taking part in it? The Democrats are weak on national security and are only concerned about attaining power so they can push forward an agenda of socializing this country. Pelosi is one of the far left Democrats and there are a few from her own party that think she is too far left but they are squashed by her power at every turn.

Pelosi is a 66 year old grandmother who lives in liberal San Francisco. She comes from a liberal political family that started in Maryland. I do not know why people are afraid of her but if I were a Democrat I would not cower to this half pint mental midget. Of course, that is a nightmare scenario because I will never be a part of her party. Pelosi needs to have a foot placed swiftly in her hind quarters to bring her back to reality. She was elected by the people of her district to represent them. She is not the supreme ruler of the country and she needs to get back to Earth. She needs to be reminded that she works for the people, not the other way around.

One day in the future, the workers of America are going to be asked to pay more and more in taxes to fund Social Security and other give away items. Trillions of dollars have already been lost because of the delay in privatization. When the time comes that people are tired of being taxed to death and tired of being forced to lived under government suppression and tyranny, this country will have another armed revolution. It might not be in my lifetime but sometime in the future this government will be overthrown because of its excesses. When that day comes, much like the Roman Empire, America will cease to be and a new civilization will emerge.

We can avoid this by enforcing term limits and replacing EVERY member of Congress on a regular basis. We can also avoid it by forcing our elected leaders to work FOR us, not the other way around. We also would do well to getting back to the Constitution and stop playing games with the organizations and members of Congress who are hell bent on destroying this country.

As for Pelosi, I guess I have crossed your path. All I can say is BRING IT ON granny. This Dog will take a bite out of your ass that you will not soon forget.
